Tadpoles are constructed of treated cover materials wrapped over a variety of resilient core materials forming a "bulb" and "tail" construction. Tadpoles are ideally suited for sealing flanges with limited bolt force, warped or uneven mating surfaces, or joints where flat tapes or packings are not suitable. Construction: Tadpole Tape is 100% hgh temperature fiberglass. Recommended for services to 1000 degrees Farenheight. This style can be substituted for all grades of asbestos.
