J.J. Downs Industrial Plastics Inc. was founded in 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. When the business started, it occupied and shared premises with a friend's firm. After out growing these premises, the business was moved one block north occupying 1500 square feet. In 1977, we purchased and relocated to 243 Bering Avenue occupying 6000 square feet. Warehousing and manufacturing continued to grow and required more space. In 1983, we purchased 245 Bering Avenue from a local printer. In 1986, we underwent construction to join both buildings and add additional warehousing. After construction was completed, we now store our products inside, under roof, in a 15,000 square foot facility. With warehousing and custom manufacturing in one location, we are able to customize our customer's requirements. The one thing that hasn't changed over the years is J.J. Downs Industrial Plastics Inc's dedication to supply and custom manufacture quality products.
