Maritime Steel and Foundries is a modern steel foundry located in Nova Scotia, Canada. We cast high and low alloy and manganese steel for the rail, mining, earth engaging, marine, and industrial markets. Founded in 1902 we have a long history of providing engineered solutions for our customer base.
Maritime Steel is M1003 certified by the American Association of Railroads, ISO9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 certified by QMI, and ABS certified by American Bureau of Shipping. With 108 years' expertise in steel castings and experience in the Foundry business, Maritime Steel can provide global sourcing for all your casting requirements as well.
We produce castings from 5 to 3500 lbs, utilizing a modern metals laboratory, with an up-to-date Spectrometer lab spectrometer, and tensile test equipment, with three metallurgists on staff.
