At Platipus Anchors we provide Earth Anchoring Solutions to a variety of market sectors, including Civil Engineering, Construction, Marine and Agriculture.
The Platipus Stealth Anchor has been designed for lightweight anchoring in mind, with a slim narrow profile. We offer a range of these earth anchors with different properties, including some made from Hard Anodised Aluminium Alloys, and some made from Galvanised Spheroidal Graphite Iron. The typical load range in our selection of Stealth Anchors can go up to 8,800 lbs, and the maximum driven depth can be up to 5 feet.
One of our other anchors, the Bat Anchor, is designed for higher loads, with the maximum typical load range in our range being 44,000 lbs, and can be driven to a depth of up to 16 feet. All of our stealth anchors are made from Aluminium Bronze and Galvanised Spheroidal Graphite Iron.
These anchors are used within our Plati-drain product, a solution that reduces pore water pressure within clay slopes and behind retaining walls.
We also have our unique Piddler irrigation system, the winner of the OROFLO Innovation Award. This system is designed to deliver water directly to the root zone and to prevent water escaping from the irrigation process by preventing runoff and evaporation. We also offer Anchored Reinforced Grid Solutions.
The services that we offer in addition to our products are; design assistance, site analysis and load reports, onsite instruction and supervision, and technical presentations. We also rent and sell installation equipment for all of our anchoring solutions.
