Pop49 gets its name from Point of Purchase (POP) and 49 is derived from the 49th parallel separating United States and Canada, because these are the two major markets which are served. The prototype facility in the quaint town of Streetsville, Mississauga, Ontario is the hub where all ideas form and develop. This factory produces high quality prototypes, jigs and molds which are the basis for production versions of the products manufactured. Mass produced products are made in two partner facilities in the GTA. Where possible Pop49 manufactures products in-house or within North America so lead times are short and quality control is tighter. Every product in the Pop49 catalogue has been meticulously selected based on quality and popularity for the customers who resell these items.
