CWB GROUP– More Than Just Certification… With over 60 years of experience, and a solid history of providing guidance, knowledge and oversight with respect to welding in Canada, there are no companies that match our commitment and contribution to the Canadian welding industry. As a technical organization we strive to deliver products and services that puts the health of the industry, the thousands of who work in it, and the people it touches front and centre. In the 6 decades we have been in existence our mandate has grown to reflect the changing needs of the industries we serve. Currently, the CWB Group is comprised of four business units as well as an industry association – the Canadian Welding Association (CWA). Our structure allows us to deliver key resources on a number of fronts: Safety and certification through the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), Welding and NDT Education through the CWB Institute, ISO and Quality System Management registration through Quasar, and the well being and growth of Canada’s welding industry and professionals through the CWA.
