Lenses:
Plastic lenses do not require any grinding or polishing and can be produced in high volumes at a fraction of the time then other materials. Our tooling and mold making capabilities allow us to produce the highest functioning lenses at a much lower cost to traditional glass lenses. Some examples of the lenses we have produced are: Non-spherical lens, cylindrical/toric lenses, Fresnel lenses, assembled lenses and prism applications.
Light Guides:
Light guide plates transfer light effectively from an input side to the far side of the guide with uniformity using internal reflection lights of transparent plastic material. We produce custom light guides in various shapes and applications using our original prism pattern. Our light guide plates have been used for LCD monitors, rods for scanners, special 3D applications and light diffuser sheets. Our original prism pattern allows us to effectively transfer a high percentage of light which means that most of our light guides run off less power, with fewer LED's than most other light guides.
Backlight Units:
Our backlights are designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in our Class 10,000 Clean Room reducing impurities and maintaining light uniformity. Our patented prism pattern in our light guides allow us to also produce custom backlight modules of any size and reduce the amount of LED's needed to illuminate the unit. We have recently developed a new backlight that is less than one millimeter thick.
